Ingredients

Salmon patties
  • 2 can (14.75 oz) salmon drained and flaked
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • cooking spray for coating the basket and patties

Equipment

  • 1 air fryer

Method

Make the salmon mixture
  1. Combine the flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, mayonnaise, dill, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and pepper in a bowl until evenly mixed.
  2. Shape the mixture into 6 patties, about 1/2-inch thick.
Air fry
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  2. Lightly spray the air fryer basket and patties with cooking spray.
  3. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
  4. Serve immediately with a squeeze of fresh lemon.

Notes

For the crispiest exterior, press each patty firmly so it holds its shape, and avoid overcrowding the basket. Refrigerate leftovers in a sealed container for up to 3 days; reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–5 minutes. Freezing is not recommended because the patties can soften when thawed. If you want a lighter option, replace the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt (use a similar amount) for a tangy bind.
